05-24-2007 - Jessa Johnson is as comfortable with a golf club in her hands as a pencil and paper drawing graphic art.

Jessa Johnson has spent her entire life on various cattle and horse ranches surrounded by the beauty of the world and memorizing all of life's characters. She sees the world from an artistic perspective with a twist of humor.

"As a child she was continually drawing cartoon art and never doodled, as each drawing was purposeful" according to her Mother, Joni Johnson, also an artist. During high school she focused on sports and was labeled a "Jockette" since she excelled in softball and basketball. Upon graduation in 2002 from the Christian Crusaders Academy in Purcell, Oklahoma she chose to enter the world of art.
