05-29-2007 - The beauty of Greensburg, Kansas remembered.
A mile-wide tornado with winds estimated at 205 mph destroyed 95% of Greensburg, Kansas on May 04, 2007. Judi Kirk's photos were taken prior to the Greensburg tornado. The land will be restored in time. Psalm 96:12-13
This tornado killed eleven people and leveled every structure in the town of l,500.
Trying to see some humor in the situation her husband, Steve Kirk, stated "I never dreamed at age 57 I would be homeless and living with my parents!" Judi has a new appreciation for several convenience items: cell phones, port-a-pottys, and bottled water. The Kirk's will rebuild in Greensburg, KS.
Judi Kirk creates unique cards that are scenic photos with the inside blank. 200 packaged 3x5 cards survived the tornado! "From Him-2U-by judi" is her business. Judi Kirk:(620)225-4711 or write Judi Kirk, 1416 Hi Street, Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
