08-17-2007 - Senior single steer roping was one of the first events of the rodeo.

Sandie Bonsall roped one place out of the money$ in the first go round of the Senior single steer roping.

Tuesday - July 31 began the first day of rodeo competition with single steer roping. Bill Pearson of Happy, TX. won the Senior ssr event on 3 head with a time of 42.70.
A.B. Cox of Mullen, NE. was second with 48.80.

PRCA single steer roping buckle winner was Scott Snedecor from Uvalde, TX. with a combined time of 33.4 seconds.

AQHA grey gelding, "Super Silver Scamper" aka "Silver" - age 12 was traded by Lynn Rice of Antlers, OK. for the 1/2 ownership of 3 Bonsall bucking bulls.

Dodge City Days is held for ten consective days with events ranging from: 5-day Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo, Neal McCoy concert, Cowboy Classic Golf tournament; high noon gunfights at Boot Hill Museum; western art show; summer sing; chuckwagon breakfast; kiddie parade; Cowboy Church and much more!
